Thermotest (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was established in 1990 by the Carbandy Group in order to offer high quality contract heat treatment services within Peninsular and East Malaysia.

A significant and on-going investment by the parent company assisted the rapid growth of Thermotest Malaysia leading to the securing of some of the most prestigious contracts within Malaysia and a significant portion of the market.

The rapid growth led to the formation of subsidiary companies regionally within South East Asia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, and latterly in Australia. By 1994 Thermotest was one of the largest specialist heat treatment companies in Asia.

During 1999 Thermotest embarked on a strategy to expand the range of services to its existing customer base in the oil and gas, shipbuilding, power generator and fabrication industries.

The aim of expanding the range of services has been to offer a high quality range of engineering services to our customers reducing the requirement to appoint numerous contractors for specific applications.

The opportunities for multi skilling specialist personnel and added divisional contribution to the group ensure a more competitive and complete service to clients.
